Everybody’s talking about the bikes. Still! V?lib made its d?but on July 15th. Three weeks later, blah blah blah bike. Well– if there are any other V?lib rejects out there, read on. Hearken to my tale of woe.
I used to be quite the bike-rider but never made the transition from kiddie bike to adult bike. I won’t bore you with the details here, but they’re on my blog if you’re interested. Once this new bike rental scheme debuted in Paris, I was determined that if I could find a quiet spot with a V?lib, I could train myself to ride a bike with brakes on the handles instead of the pedals.
