My name is Richard and I am a chocoholic.
If there was a 12-step program for chocoholics, I guess I just passed the first step.
Paris has some of the best chocolate shops in the world and I can sniff out a new one faster than a drug-sniffing German Shepard can find a kilo of cocaine at Charles de Gaulle airport.
I received a hot new lead the other day and sniffed my way to Galler, a spanking brand-new chocolate shop only open two days so far in the Marais.

This is the third in a series of four pieces by Leau Phillips at the New Mexico State Fair in Albuquerque.
You must be on the edge of your seats waiting to find out the scoop about angry hot glass lady. But before I give you the rundown of the third day of the glorious New Mexico State Fair booth saga, please indulge me while I rant.

One of the most famous is the Spa in La Toja, located on the Gallician Island bearing the same name. This spa came into being when a shepherd of the area discovered the excellent quality of its thermal waters. This centre has one of the best spa installations in Europe and offers a great variety of treatments for rheutmatic diseases, rehabilitation, skin diseases, like psoriasis and respiratory ear, nose and throat problems. Staying in this spa and and enjoying three day’s of treatments costs about 500 ?.

Photo of late summer berries growing near the city walls in York, England.
Did you ever know anyone who actually used that expression? Me neither. But it popped into my head when posting this photo. For the past week it’s been cool and fall-like. Suddenly, it’s warm and sunny, like summer’s last gasp. No wonder I have a migraine, with such abrupt temperature changes. For all you Under the Microscope fans, Rel and his wife Diane arrived safely in Paris yesterday. He phoned to say they are in a nice hotel in an interesting area and he’d already exhausted his camera’s batteries, snapping photos of a youth rally/demonstration (luckily he has more). And David and I will be seeing them in person Wednesday night.
