There’s more than one Rome. We have the ancient Rome, maybe the most famous of them, and probably the reason why you’re travelling here. But the city has also a living face that’s almost as fascinating as its monuments.
Italy, like most of the European countries is a magnet for immigration from all the continents. As everyone knows, this phenomenon that mixes together people of different origins and creeds

offers quality accommodation comparable to Rome 4 star hotels. Read what our guest Maggie wrote:
“The Cappellari B&B stay could not have been nicer. The hostess, Carlina, was very welcoming and kind. She spoke excellent English and offered information about the city that we found very useful The facility is located only two blocks from Campo Fiori, which is a lively square with flower and fruit markets, as well as several Ristorante and Cafe’s. We were also able to walk to many interesting areas of Rome with ease, including the Vatican, the Forum and Colosseum, the Capitoline Museum, the river and Piazza Navona, another very lively square quite nearby. The apartment was compact, but had everything we needed. Carlina was very good about supplying breakfast foods and strong Italian coffee. The room was made up every day, which was not expected. Our transportation from the airport was prompt and the driver was friendly and informative. All in all, I would give this stay four stars.”

Well this had to be certainly the most interesting temple I visited in Malaysia. The Snake Temple in Bayan Lepas is a temple full of Crotalinae snakes aka Pit Vipers. These snakes have long hollow fangs which will inject you with a proteotoxic venom, this type of venom wont paralyse you but will eat away at you from the inside out. The venom is basically a highly-evolved digestive fluid which will start destroying your cells, blood and muscle tissues… so I tried hard not to scare them too much with the flash.
The only other thing you will notice in Snake Temple is the stink of all the burning incense. It is the sacred smoke from the incense which is supposed to render the snakes harmless, considering I saw an old man milking one of the snakes I consider this very doubtful.
